COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic I am offering all sessions via Telehealth (video or phone) until further notice. This is to allow for physical distancing, to help people avoid unnecessary trips away from home and on public transport, and to help stop the community transmission of this easily spread virus (including amongst those who show no symptoms). Scientific evidence is clear that Telehealth is as effective as therapy attended in-person face to face. I have used Telehealth for years and have found it works very well. If you would like to discuss how attending Telehealth sessions may work for you please send me a message via the contact form or call 1800 858 179 as I am very keen to answer any questions.

Please click here to read an information sheet provided by The Australian Psychological Society (APS) about sessions via Telehealth in response to COVID-19.

The APS also has a number of information sheets containing useful strategies which can help both adults and children cope with the coronavirus pandemic (please click here). The Black Dog Institute has produced an information sheet containing information about managing your mental health while working from home during COVID-19 (please click here). The Department of Health has produced a website called Head to Health offering online support (please click here).

For up to date information, including FAQs, from the NSW Ministry of Health please click here or please contact the Coronavirus Health Information line on 1800 020 080.

I wish everyone good health and look forward to working together in these challenging times.
